infinity versus polk audio

was thinking of buying some components. limit around 200 bucks. what do you think are better between infinitys or polk audio? also will probably want to get an amp to power them sometime.

CDT Cl 61a for $150.... or get some low end rainbow... of if you can solder I have a better option -- or if you can't I can put it together for ya... no big deal... If you can expand to about $300 another MUCH nicer option appears...

Infinity comps are far from great. They are pretty bad. I should know especially since they used to be in my car. Tweeter is harsh, and no midbass. Polk momo's on the other hand do a pretty good job, and are superior by far to the infinitys without a doubt. Out of the 2 he mentioned go with the polks.

i have perfects. i like it. dont know how the polks sound. but dont get neither. get DLS. or CDT. thats what i wish i wouldve spent my money on. you can get perfects for 199 on ebay buyitnow but i think CDTs for that price will give the perfects a run for their money.. especially if you go through djdillion from this forum.. or so i hear.

Notice how i was talking about the polk momos, not the polk db's. The momos walk all over the perfects. Read next time!
