I havent heard the boston's but the perfect sound awsome. The sound just as good at full volume as they do at half. There are kinda power hungry for compents i have a cheap a** kenwood and they crave more. i want to get jl 150/2 they would take 150 watts just fine. if there going in your doors like what i did get ready to have a lot of vibrations or alot of sound deading. i would recommened custom door or kick panels because there a sq speaker and the factory door locations take alot away from them
