INFINITY PERFECT 10 VQ...anyone else have one?

I got this pretty cheap , I guess you could say I lucked out. It is the one with the center pole piece in the magnet assembly that is removableto adjust the "Q"

I see it comes with a LOW Q & a MID Q...

I got this used and there are no instructions so

how are you using it if anyone is?

I am running it dual VC into a 2 ohm load off my ARC 5150 5 channel

roughly 300 watts to the sub.

I think the former owner had it running on MID Q which is what is in the sub right now.

anyone with experience let me know

I had the mid insert in my 12VQ in a 2.25cf tuned to 28Hz running with 100W for 3months then I got a 601.1 and gave it 424W and it opened up so much. Sold it to my friend and its seeing 180W now. GReat sub for what it was. Got pretty loud considering Infinity is not known for SPL w a single sub.

I am thinking I need to remove the pole piece or at least someone said a small enclosre needs no piece in it.

the box I have is about 1 cuft . I am going off top of my head since I am not measuring it right now. but its a square basically that someone else had a Kicker sub I had bought long time ago.

its about 1 cuft. Minumum for it according to the specs i read was .66

nah its not its really .8 typo......I wish i had 8cubes to put it in........Yea cubes with 2 infinity 10's... Thats a joke in itself

300 RMS? I have one in a .75 cu' sealed box and using the mid insert and it sounds great, but not nearly enough output for me. I'm only pushing it with an Infinity 475a though.
