My friend said that a guy can hook him up with a set of Infinity Kappa comps for 60bux, which to me is a good deal. But i was just wondering if you all think so. And I've heard their tweets are kinda harsh, anyone know this?

I would agree with...yea it is a good deal...and yea their tweets are harsh. Of course the right install and adjustments can help though. For 60 bucks why not?

then yea...go for it. i personally don't like infinitys or quarts because of the tweeters. JMO though.

Harsh meaning the sound pretty pierces into ur ears. Whether or not u like this is up to you. Just go find a local dealer and audition them to see how u like them. And i'd suggest u go with 6.5 and not 6x9/8 comps

And i dont' mean loud highs, but more like the piercing kinda highs. Loud and harsh are different things

i plan on going with 2 12's l7 in a ported box with a 1500 kicker amp

wanted to go with 4 12's jsut not enough room

and then a 650.4 kicker amp for doors just not sure what door speakers to go with yey

Well different speakers.. Worse too, but the same brand... I have/ had some Infinity reference speakers, and they don't take much power, and the highs are TERRIBLE. I think my Sony speakers sound better...
