Infinity Kappa Stereo novice installation questions

I have an Infinity Kappa 255a 5 channel amp with output as follows:

50W x 4 @ 4 ohm OR 75W x 4 @ 2 ohm

200W x 1 @ 4 ohm OR 300W x 1 @ 2 ohm

I have a set of Infinity Kappa 693.1i (100W RMS) and 63.1i (70W RMS) speakers which I want to wire to this amp. Is this amp enough to power them adequately at 4 ohm? What about the 2 ohm option?

I also have a single 12" Infinity Kappa 1200.1 sub but I dont know much about it because it is at a friend's house. There is dual voice coil model and one without. I don't know which one it is. What is DVC and what does it mean anyway? RMS is supposedly 300W. Here is a link to some simple specs on it.

My question about the sub is whether or not it can run at 2ohm since those specs say 4 ohm. If it can, how do I set it for 2 ohm on the amp? I read the manual but its still kinda fuzzy to me. Will it sound any better at the lower impedance? How does all this ohm crap work exactly?

I also have a set of Infinity Kappa tweeters without the crossover boxes, just the tweeters themselves. Is there any way I can wire these in somehow too?

ok...

1st your internals will sound fine with 50watts @ 4 ohms.

2nd you might want to experiment with your wiring to see which you like best. Your choices are limited to 2 or 8 ohms if it is the dual voice coil sub. All DVC means is that their are 2 positive and 2 negative terminals. If you connect the pos. from amp to BOTH the positive terminals on sub, then neg. on amp to BOTH neg. on sub you'll get a 2 ohm load.

if u ran 8 ohms u'd only get about 100watts, and should get round 400 @ 2

if you only have one sub that is 4ohms, then that all you have. if you had 2 then you could go down to 2ohms

tell us if the sub is SVC or DVC and will tell you how to wire things up for what you have.
