I was thinking about ordering a set of these for my 03 Silverado SS truck and wanted everyone's opinion on these.I will be running the, off of a JL Audio 450/4.Im also gonna run Infinity Kappa 4x6's on it too.How should this sound?

infinity perfects ****, tweet is terrible and midbass only so so..look into other companies.

I agree, I ran a set for 2 plus years (6.1's). The high's will make your ears bleed and the midbass is nowhere to be found.

the strangest thing is on most websites their always at least 4/5. I think they **** IMO. The highs are...ugh

Alpine X series - actually sounds pretty good and not like the best buy brand they are.

This is just my .02 cents on other recommendations that'll blow infinity kappa perf. out of the water. I sadly believe that plain kappas sound better than there perfects. It really wierd

Also i recommend you dont run rear speakers if you getting a sick set of comps. Itll through of the souhnd. Especially in a truck. Small cabin room you dont need them.

My perfects work just fine with the right EQ setting... IDK whats wrong wit you guys comps. Mine do exactly what their supposed to do at 80 hz and up. If you want below 80 get a subwoofer...

Yeah but that goes with all speakers, if you set them right they sound great. so yeah i bet ur perfs. do sound great if u set them right.

Whats your budget? I would never buy Infinity products for my life lol. I personly wouldn't run the JL XR's either The ZR's I would though! But give us a budget from that your lookin' at because that 450/4 is a nice amp and deserve to power worthy enough speakers!

had the perfects and i agree with what the first few guys said. I would NOT buy them again.

i am running boston acoustic pro 60's right now and they totally destroy the perfects.

I too thought that the Infinity's sounded good, until I got an mid-upper tier set of speakers. They don't sound bad compared to stock or lower end equipment. But put them up against some Seas Lotus Reference(as I did) and you realize how bad they really are. The Perfects have no midbass authority, yeah they will "play" down to 80hz, but it isn't impressive.
