Just picked this sucker up for 84 bucks, used but in mint condition.

What would you guys recomend for a good sq amp?

I thought about going the cadence 150.2, cuz its a 4 ohm driver

SO I will most likely need a 2 channel amp.

Shoot me some suggestions, I used to have a perfect runnning of 300 RMS and it overheated, but maybe it was defective.... it made weird poping sound sometimes...

That doesnt sound right, I used to have a pair running at 1200w never had a problem with overheating, no burnt coils, nothin.

x2. I currenty have a pair of tens running off about 400 each that haven't had any problems.

Don't buy junk. Don't waste too much money on a mediocre woofer. I'll give you a hint you're looking for something you can afford, between 2-400 watts at 4 ohms.

Op! Update, I jsut recived the sub and turns out it's a dual 4 ohm, so I guess no more 2 channel, I need a 1 channel, with 325-400 RMS.

I'm thinking like a kicker 300.1 or a rockford 325.1?

I would get the 400.1 because it is class D. The 300.1 is AB.

you could take a look at an Alpine MRP-D500

I don't really like the MRP alpines, 3 of my friends who have them say they over heat.

Plus I'm looking for a small sized amp to fit in the location of the stock amp.
