i have the chance to buy some "almost" new infinity 62.1i speakers, they were brand new in 2001, used for approx. 1 year, then boxed back up in original boxes after the car was sold and have been in a closet ever since, someone wants to sell two pair of them to me for $75, new they were over $100 a set, but that was 12 years ago.
my car is a 2004 infiniti G35 sedan, the stock door speakers sound like crap to me, my thoughts were that Infinity speakers in an infiniti car would be kind neat even though they are not related at all, the same seller has a pair of older Kappa Perfect 10's that i can get for $150 for the pair also, i may actually pick them up at that price.
anyone have any suggestions on the vintage infinity equipment? i just dont want to get stuck with something that may have sounded fantastic when they were new, but by todays standards are no longer up to par.
