Infinity KAPPA 462.7CPF ohm load

Ok i bought these kappa 462.7cpf for my dads truck. When i ordered them i did not think to check tho ohms rating because most speakers are 4 ohms but when i opened them up i noticed they say 2 ohms????? Will this work with an kenwood head unti or will it overheat and go into prtection mode. Can someone tell me why they made this speaker 2 ohm?

I do not know why they made the new speakers 2 ohm, but it will not work with the headunit...Unfortunately, you will have to get an amp...
