Decent highs, but the midbass is utterly horrid. At least to my ears.

I always thought that infinty made great midrange speakers until i heard a buddies system with 6.5's in the doors and 5x7's in the rear of the car...i now stand corrected because the 5x7's sounded like garbage!!! so much so that he took them out and put an older pair of clarion pros in there which will **** near make ears bleed. i would stay away from the inf's but then again i've always been partial to the boston's,polk (not far from infinty though) and quarts. hell i have even heard a few sets of the kicker 5x7's and they sounded good, great if you compare the price to the sound ya get...
