im looking to buy some infinity references 6002i 6.5" speakers. i will most likely buy the 6x9 to go along with the others. they match my interior and exterior perfectly but i was wondering how the performance side is. it looks good but obviously i want it to sound good as well. You obviously have very low standards for ***....

Those ref's are quite good for the money. They aren't going to wow you with bass or anything, and no speakers in the price range will. But you will not be disapointed with them.

The infinities are a great option for the price.

Beware of the harsh tweeter and absolutely no midbass. I put my CDT tweeters in the wifey's car with the ref's and they sound much better.

Midrange is really nice though.
