yes, i know they are SQ woofers.

yes, i know they arent very good for spl.

yes, i know sealed sucks for spl.

yes, i know im going to get flamed.

but, there are 4 of these little guys.

dumb question:

will 4 infinity 1230w's, sealed 1 cubic ft per sub, get loud enough for me?

if i recall, they have 11mm of Xmax, rated at 300rms each, i will give them about 250-300 rms each.

loud enough for me = something along the lines of a 15L7 3 cube sealed w/ 800RMS

If loud for you is 1 15 l7 in a sealed box, then the 4 infinitys will be more than enough for you.

Ide say it would be close, since your only running 300 to each sub, but you would be happy im sure. The rerferences can handle more, and especially if its in a sealed. You could run 400 comfortably to them in that sealed box comfortably.

They wont get loud enough. But they should be just as loud as one L7 sealed......

yea.. i heard 4 of them in the trunk of an accord today gettin about 240 - 260 rms each,

didnt get all that loud.

now, im thinking of another setup.

ive got about 1200RMS to work with.

need a sub or subs to get close to my old 15L7 (2.8 @ 39Hz w/ 800RMS)

preferably a single or two 12s

need good SPL and somewhat good SQ. any suggestions?

budget is like 250
