Can you upgrade the alt?

It's not possible whatsoever. Called everywhere possible even the dealership with no luck.

I would think you could have your stock alternator beefed up a little. Unless there is just something really different about your stock alt.

first of dude.........if you give JL AUDIO a call I can promise you they will tell you to upgrade your altornator instead of adding a battery.........adding a battery is JUST ANOTHER LOAD on the altornater, Dude until I desided to down down grade the super bass,,,,,I ran a 300/4 and a 1000/1 on my one 13W7 on my stock 110 amp alternator.....def didn't have gains up all the way on either amp....but my lights dimmed slightly with a 5 farad capacitor,,,,,that shop doesn't seem like the know whats going on over there.....call JL man.......they will not reccomend you need to run a extra battery but to just upgrade the altornator..........look up ohio generators,,,,there pretty expensive but there reliable..I haven't had any problems with mine..........the amps can pull alot of current...but not exactly sure what the current draw is........you should be able to RUN THE SET up dude.....just PM //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/graduate.gif.d982460be9f153bb54e5d4cb744f6ae8.gif
