Infiniti Basslink installation question

Hi all,

Decided it was time to 'Pimp My Ride'. I have a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee and am replacing the factory stereo with the following:

Pioneer DEH P6000 head unit

Polk d651 speakers

Pioneer XM receiver

Infiniti Basslink sub and Audiobahn 4004T 4 ch 400 watt amp (both from a previous installation)

I *think* I've got the installation figured out with one exception: If I guessed correctly, since the sub is self-powered I can hook it up straight from the head unit with a pair of RCA cables. i.e., since it's powered, I don't need a seperate amp? (The Pioneer unit has sub pre-outs).

Thanks in advance to anyone with any advice or info!
