BL is only one factor, and many consequences come with it such as raising fs.

well good sir,i ran a re sx 12 for awhile and even though it could handle more wattage and flex shi t,it had less bl than my d6.my d6 has a 24 bl and even though its a 600w rms sub,to my ear,the d6 hits harder and cleaner.i believe the sx had a bl of 20.and off the same amp in the same box.so bl is everything to me with a in the 30's FS

As of right now they are "under staffed" if you want to call it that. There have been some changes made there.

As for which will perform better, it will greatly depend on the application more then anything.
