they say there wont me any sq at that volume level, which is partially true.

theres a difference between sounding pretty good @ 147db and sounding like *** @ 147 db.

i love the lows, and i know that the DP's have the lows so thats what id recommend.

I suggest you look at the Rd Alphas. Right now you can get them cheaper than the AQ and a VERY good sub. http://www.rdaudio.net/alpha/alpha.htm I would grab them while you can. A 15 is only $329. They sound GREAT and get loud. You can email them here- se_rdaudio@yahoo.com

which of these woofers should i go with for a 2 15 setup in an envoy that will be powered by a saz 3500......i am looking at the death penalty and lvl 4xl.......main goal is pretty loud daily setup (147 db) that can still retain decent sq ...thanks

Pretty positive 1 15" Death Penalty can handle that saz 3500 by it's self. Sure the lv 4xl would fair on one also. Why under power and do 2 of either?

i agree......i really didnt want to get rd ......im not sure y.......those dps look amazing and i cant help but smile when i c them but the price makes it hard for me to just get up and buy them........if anyone knows a cheaper way to hit 147 daily with 2 15s please let me know

hehehehe........ and you have experience with them all..... But yet you rate the Xcon up there with them? That right there tells me you have not a clue bud.

Nightshade and DP are pretty much the same sub.......

And there was a big comparison over the Alpha -vs- NightShade and the NS BARELY....BARELY..... edged out the Alpha... and the Alpha is RD's 4th spot entry subwoofer.... so what does that tell you......

all the subs listed are great subs...so like papermaker said, u wont be disappointed...

i have a 9515g for sale if ure looking and also, cd omegas sound pretty good and can handle a ton of power...

re xxx has a rd hw for sale i think..and it should do the job well also
