ok, i keep making threads asking about these subs and i get like one response. i've only read a handful of reviews and they've all been good. could i please get some more opinions on these drivers? i'm only looking to spend about $250 for 2 12's, so these fit my bill. also, im looking for sql.

I'm not an expert with these, but I hear they can take about 600 wrms each. Thats about all I know.

wow that's weird. i think their site says they only handle like 400 rms watts.... how do they sound though? in the right enclosure and the right install, can they hit hard? do they sound good doing it?

The pair I had that I sold to Skadude016 were each tested on an estimated 1800 watts RMS (modded MTX 1501D @ 1 ohm) using a Bass Mekanic cd. They got pretty warm but showed no signs of stress in the suspension or anything.

My pair also played nice and low sharing 3.2 cubes @ 32hz. I miss that setup.

I had 4 10" 187's. One blew after 10 mintues of playtime. I guess they sounded good for the time they lasted.

i have a pair right now in a 5.5@33 hz enclosure. they play plenty low and get loud even for the huge enclosure they are in. running off of a viper d1200.1 at 2 ohms so around 800wrms for the pair, they dont get warm or anything...very nice subs.
