I have 2 type r's 1242's. My amp is a directed 1500d. I just got this new amp from dei because i sent my amp in i used to have the 1100d. My box is 15 high 32 long 15 wide they used osb board instead of mdf. I want to get some more life out it basially. Its in a 95 avenger about a foot and a half away from the tale end of the car so subs are facing towards the lights. A car audio shop built that box i have it is tuned to 32 so they say. They screwed up on the measurements though. Should i get another amp? should i get another type r? Should i get different subs? what about build a box that i could build ? would mdf vs osb be a differenece?

so build enclosure then next step amp? preferbably i would rather get loud with same amount of wattage but if they need more and output will be significant i would do so. my type r's are 1242s so i couldent wire to 1 ohm if i had one on each amp maybe i should look in to different deeper louder woofers or woofer.
