K we know that if we supply too much power to a sub it will fry itself, and in some cases the rms rating given by manufacturers is high because the sub can handle excess heat, but not neccesarily have good enough suspension for the rating.. here's my idea:
What about hooking up a computer fan inside an enclosure so that you could turn it on to cool the sub while it was running? Say you took a type R 12, fixed some metal fins to it, and rigged up a fan to blow on it, think it could handle 1500 rms daily, or would the suspension give out?
