looking for an amp that can push 2 ID8V3s to their max. prefer a 1ohm stable amp, but 500ish @4 ohms is fine as well. also need the amp to be happy on ~12.5v. would prefer an adjustable subsonic(or a "phantom" subsonic at ~20 hz) as well as a 50-150hz low pass and a phase knob or switch is a plus. using RCAs will be a pain so if it has speaker leavel imputs its a super big +.

at the moment im still strapped for cash, but im starting to get the shakes and am in serious need of some bass.

Those subs cant handle that. They are good for maybe 5-700wrms if you do it properly and know what your doing. I ran mine on an under rated 500@2 on my pair of ID8D2's ported.

Toss a sub on its own channel and your good to go. These things are very under rated. You will be pushing at or more than recommended RMS per sub.
So, you said you ran yours on an underrated 500@2, but say the 700@2 the DC is rated for is far too much? If he wants to wire to 4 ohms, the DC should give him ok power, and if he's smart he can just wire to 1 ohm and turn his gain down. Simple. It may not suit his needs to the "T", but I think for you to dismiss it based on what you said was poor.

But I'm also not trying to sell that or anything. OP, you make the decisions, I was just tossing out options.

The DC is far more under rated than the Cadence. However, the Cadence will sound 10 times better than DC's cookie cutter off the shelf amp.
