aye, so its possible to get 300 WHP without F/I?
edit: in a coupe
Yep, in either one, sedan or coupe..same motor, only difference is the doors...and the weight..the sedan is a little lighter. My friend has a Vortech and he's doing close to 350 right now on the stock motor, but he's going to go with a fully built motor end of the year.

I wouldn't go with the Stillen supercharger...way too expensive for the gains it gives.

There is a guy i see down here that has a black on black, TT G35 coupe w/ 19" Volk rims(gold w/ chrome lip). I got a ride in it like 5 months or so back and it was a beast. Next to no turbo lag and makes a good amount more power than the s/c kits out there.

Btw his wasn't something like the greddy kit, his was put together by a local shop w/ twin garrett turbos(don't know which models though).

Now, we all know I am a huge fan of fitment, but -7.5 degrees of camber is excessive, even for most VIP-styled enthusiasts.

I dig the hell out of the wheels, though.

I probably missed it, but what coilovers are you running?

eh, I read G forums, and I'm just not convinced that adding power costs that much unless you take it to a shop

It's labor-related.

That extra $55-100 per hour adds up after a 8 hour install on most 'power adders.'

If you don't mind a little dirt, then wrench on it and save yourself an awful lot of money.

I tinkered with the VQ in my Maxima and pulled plenty of extra power out, and only had $2 or 2.5K invested. Admittedly, I wasn't running juice or boost, but even that SHOULDN'T be 5+ thousand.

You're tuning a widely available and tinkered with basic import car... not a supercar that requires a mastertech.

Nice....I'd prefer a turbo, it's just that here in cali the SC's are carb legal, up until a certain stage, but the next stage involves changing pulleys, cop really won't know.

Turbo's give much more room for tuning as well. If my car wasn't so flashy with the wheels I wouldn't mind doing it. One of the guys on the team is going to get a tune once he breaks in his engine...should be doing about 600 or close to that...doesn't sound like a G anymore, more like a monster V8.

Fronts are HKS Hypermax III's and rears are Stance GR+ true coils....waiting for the front damper replacement to come in for the fronts so I can take out the HKS, the clicker wouldn't stop at full soft or stiff so I didn't put them on. The HKS was just way too soft with 9kg spring rates. What I have now will be 12kg in the front and 14-16kg in the rear....Might bring the fronts up to 14-16k as well.
