oh i don't mind the blurred, i never use it anyways, i just want the rattling sound to go away. and i would take it off, but i think it's illegal not to have a rear view mirror

Depends on exactly what part of it's rattling. Most likely it's just the mirror itself rattling in the housing. If that's the case maybe you can fold a few small pieces of paper in 1/2 and slide them betweent the housing trim and the mirror, then use a razor to cut of the visible pieces.

Just an idea.

not sure about the rattleing though...you need to figure out exactly which part of the mirror is the problem....

you can take off your rear view mirror its not illegal as long as you have 2 side mirrors, but if your cars like mine they rattle too

i m having the same trouble. i got some "foam tape strip" ($1.45) from autotoys.com, it's just foam so that it stops the rattle. it's useful for the license plate too. i haven't put them yet, but will soon.

however, for the rearview mirror it will only work if u have an aftermarket one on top (u know the wider ones) it should stop the rattle in my case.

ive learned to like the rattling.. and even when it stops... everything still moves... haha

only way to stop it is turn down the music... and who wants to do that???

hmm... well my mirror doesn't rattle but the ****er falls down every time the bass hits... not off but you know how the mirror turns n shit... it'll turn down and face the back seat... any way to rig it up so I can see the cool shaking cars without duct tape?

oh yea... and I -love- my shiva so much I've made a pile of stuff in the corner of my room that I can sell to buy a second

i was thinking about putting second skin all over it, but then i realized that i'm not that ghetto. i think i might just take mine off. and are we absolutely positive that it's not illegal to drive without a rearview mirror?

I dont think it is illegal but some states are different than others so I would call down tht police station in your city and ask...
