Personally the best MIDS I have ever heard (and wish I could fit in my doors are the ADIRE Koda 6.1's)..I liked the whole component set..but for some reason people don't trust adires Tweets?

My Taurus' stock 5X7s: ultra efficient and 3.2 ohm.

RoadMaster 6.5" and horn tweeters in a box, but only if you gap where the tweeters are mounted for ventilation. Long story.

I think my cdt hd 6.5 comp set has a ton of midbass, but I'm sure it's not the best. Maybe a purpose built midbass driver like something from Vifa ?

One set of components I never hear about alot but get alot of PLAY in the Audio mags are ORION???anyone know much about thier quality...Good Power handling specs..Orion Amps are good???

From what I've heard RE say, the RE8 isn't a good midbass driver.

But, good 8s, look into the Image Dynamics IDQ8, DLS Iridium 8", Vifa, Morel, Peerless, Scanspeak, Usher, Dynaudio, Rainbow.
