IMPRINT q's

Ya bandpass for the sub and tweet. 36 db slopes.

Do the regular settigns get stored too? or just the imprint settings? I've already set all 6 crossover presets and eq presets.

Here's one. Can you use the imprint to set up the system for two separate listening positions, like te driver's seat and the passenger seat?
Actually, 2 positions are recommended. You can do it for up to 6 (or was it 4?) positions. The way it works is it adjusts sound stage and delay to be good from any seat in the vehicle at the same time. Unlike if you do it manually where it will only sound good from the driver seat.

i dont understand how yu can possibly adjust sound stage and delay to sound good for both passenger and driver...anyone care to explain? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I was thinking the same thing. I would think you'd have to set it up to sound best at EITHER the driver's seat or the passenger's seat. I don't see how it possibly sound just as good for both seats simultaniously.

It corrects frequency and time alignment and applies mathematical algorithms and fuzzy logic to over 500 points over the whole frequency spectrum of each single channel. It works all that in clusters (seats in our cars).

Because it's not just a simple frequency flattening process to one point.

Those are good reads:

I'm still waiting for mine to arrive and will experiment myself. Hope it works well with only a 3-way front-stage and a sub.

Got it finally!

Didn't have time to use it at full since I have to do it very late at night when it's quiet enough. But I did try... I measured for driver location only using 2 measurements (you can pick what location(s) you want to measure for -- driver seat only/driver+passenger/rear seat/all) and based on that you can do from 1 to 6 measurements with different mic locations. The more measurements the better.

First impression is just: "WOW! How did they do this?".

Although my sub level was a little high when I did it and it was noisy outside so lows weren't done perfectly on the graph but everything still sounds amazing.

First thing I noticed was a really high and easy to distinguish sound-stage. From the few tracks I played I could hear things I never could hear before (even lows).

It is "shocking" when you click the multeq button to disable it and hear what you were listening to all this time.

thanks for the quick review, definately provide a more detailed follow up review when you have a chance. i am looking forward to adding the Imprint software to my 9887!
