well i have money allocated for my batts, about 400 give or take. heres the problem i have, if i use a regular everstart battery to start the vehicle with a high ESR and get 2 HC2000's for the back wouldnt it just take longer to recharge the batts in back because my starting battery has high ESR?

so would i be better offf having (1) kinetik HC2000 as a starter and (1) near the amp

OR

have a regular everstart battery and 2 sealed batteries in back?

I doubt you'll notice the difference. Do you have an upgraded alternator at all?

You could put your batteries on charge every once in a while, like 10 amp trickle charge overnight like once a week just to keep all the batteries, as well as your alternator healthy. I did this for like 2 years before I bought a HO alternator. ... just a thought.

or you can scoop my batteries I have for sale //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

good luck either way

yup, i think im gonna get the alpha cells

im still waiting on a HO alty because im in between vehicles

yeah I understand ya about the alternator. I put it off for like 2 years because I was cheap. What I did was just trickle charge it every couple of days, and before competitions....my score never hurt from it at all, in fact my 2nd highest score ever was with Alphacells and a stock 90 amp alternator. Goes to show you there are different ways to get around not having to buy an alternator.

My teammate did something similar in his Dodge Ram, he had 9 SVR battereies and a stock 90 amp alternator. Had no issues on power ever.
