Impedance???????

So I got a few components from two different buddies and what to know what would be the best way to hook it all up? I know the setup is not ideal but it was dirt cheap.

- one 8" 300W RMS 4 ohm DVC Subwoofer

- 2ch amp:

50W RMS 4ohm per channel

100W RMS 2ohm per channel

200W RMS 4ohm bridged

Wondering how I should wire it all up, put 2, 4 or 8 ohms on the amp? Not looking to break records or rumble the block, just want to hear kickdrums and have a clean sound. Also don't want to wreck anything along the way.

Oh, and putting it in a sealed box with .60 cu ft volume (manual says .35-.85). It's going in an '95 Eclipse, it's a hatch but has one of those swing down security flaps that hides the trunk from peering eyes. Want the box against the back seats, so i still have a truck, should i aim the sub to the cabin or to the back? thanks.

A 4 ohm DVC can either be wired in parallel for 2 ohm final load or in series for 8 ohm final load.

Hope your amp is 2 ohm mono stable, or you're not in a great position here. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

The amp is an MTX TC2002, the manual doesn't say anything about where it's stable but I'm guessing it's at 4ohm. If I did wire it a 2ohm and was careful think I would be alright?
