Science is everything
I am simply trying to find out what the average Impedace rise is that people are seeing. If you have not clamped your amp and looked at the DCR from the sub/s please do not post as I am simply trying to collect data to come to a conclusion.

If you have done these things please post:

Starting ohm load

Final ohm load

I understand these rises are due to many different things, I am simply trying to find our what the average competitors see for a rise.

What does this test procedure so that I can give you my results?
Measure the DCR of the sub/subs using a DMM set on Ohms

Then clamp your amp, using a true RMS clamp and a volt meter, measuring AC current for both tools. Clamp the positive speaker wire as close to the amp as possible. Put DMM on the speaker outputs of the amp. Set the DMM for AC voltage, and AC amperage for the clamp meter.

Multiply the two numbers to get RMS that amplifier is putting out.

Divide the numbers to see box rise to see impedance.
