Impedance expertz quick question.

errrr nvm I figured something out, my amp is 2channel .5ohm stable on each channel i'm a moron I can just wire. 2 to one and 1 to the other...there will be a little imbalance though wonder if that is ok. the DVC 4ohm would recieve 700watts @2ohms per specs and the other 2 would each recieve 600watts per specs.

Is that acceptable or a problem?

*facepalm*
No, you cannot run subs of different impedance from the same amp.
false. essentially he could run the D4 at 2 ohms, and then wire the two D2 @4 ohms down to two ohms, and give each channel 2 ohms. no problems on the amp side.

however the subs wouldnt be receiving equal power. you could adjust the gains if you had a clamp and ddm to get each sub the same amount of power, but its not worth the time and effort.

No, my statement was completely correct. I said that HE cannot do it, I didn't say it wasn't physically possible.

LOL thx Dirtrider for standing up for me? I know what I'm doing well enough when it comes down to hardware, but software errr ohms/volts/amps not my strong suite I need a lil splaining before I get it fully. I got the basics just this would be more complicated then I know right now. I have filed this under the bad idea category though. Wish I woulda set my gains with a DMM upon install. I blew one of my subs which the other day with no bassboost,eq flat, non-fader/subwoofer output at -3db off 50% gain on my amp. I never heard any distortion but it must have been there, noway I blew type r's off 700watts rms unless I was clipping hardcore....and clipping on 50% gain is sad. Oh well be at half bass for a while I guess.

well your amp is actually pretty powerful. the subs might of not been able to take the power. if you were running the amp in 1 channel per each sub, each sub at 1 ohm would be getting twice its rated power, and type rs cant do that. lol
