The real question is how can people deny the above yet have blind faith in something with no proof.

I understand people want to cling to some kind of after life because they are afraid to die. I also understand some people think religion is the way to keep themselves in line and not go astray sinning and breaking the law.

But seriously what makes you so sure your religion is the right one, your god is the only god, and the little cults around don't have the real answer...or that there is even a god at all. There are many things in life I can't explain...but I don't run around makin shit up for explanations.

How many religions have there ever been throughout history? Despite how smart and advanced civilizations like the romans and greeks were, we "know" their religions to be completely bogus and incorporate them into our fables and tall tales for children. What makes us any different than them? How do we know Jesus wasn't a drunk who went around telling stories while hopped up on shrooms? All this religion shit is based on stuff hundreds and thousands years old. Last time I checked, the world isn't flat and the universe doesn't revolve around the earth.
