Hey, Sherlock. You've figured me out. This must explain why I had an IDQ12V2 in my car for years. Clearly, due to my dislike of ID, I spent my own money on the speakers, too. What a brilliant deductive process! I don't know why it's so difficult to accept that folks may base their idea of goodness on criteria that extends a bit further than tonal balance and frequency response.

Edit: Your comical approach piqued my curiosity, so I just took a quick look at your past threads. It's brutally obvious that you know nothing about audio and that you couldn't recognize good sound if it bit you in the ***. Given the scope of your argument that boils down to, "Everybody else likes them, why don't you," it's easy to see how a simple mind can be led astray.

what I guess us guys did not spend our OWN money to buy our equipment what is up with you keep stating that you SPENT YOUR OWN MONEY? what are you really trying to say? and by the way I assumed that you knew that I was talking about the Mids from ID I see now I must spell everything out for you since you are an expert even expert sometime LACK common-sense. use your head and your eyes. when i see these dudes saying the ID's are SOOOO great, they rate them next to some $60 kicker coaxials...
lets not play stupid here.

not me I have had CDTs, BAs, MB Quarts Alpines(not the cheap models) and a few others that costs a lot more then 60.00 I also have had some seas and some adire mids running active. So i`m comparing them up against so good components.

How would one feel more important having to ask an utter imbecile for permission? It makes no sense at all. BTW, I didn't say anything in reference to a purchase; it was aimed at posting a personal experience. Perhaps there's someone in your acquaintance, who can read and understand English, willing to help you with the next round.

As it stands, your reply was nothing more than a pathetic attempt to upload something, regardless of relevance and application. I hope it at least made you feel better...for a few minutes.

i'm loving this thread more and more. FJF you are entitled to your opinion that's fine. Everyone is. If you didn't like the cxs that's also fine. Were they v1? just curious didn't see if it was stated or not. What type of music do you listen to? As i'm sure someone will say that that type of music is the worst type of music they have ever heard and from that point on tell everyone not to listen to it. that won't make them correct but it is their taste.

I agree, that is a nice collection you have but it might be one of the reasons the newer tech like ID didn't sound very good (joking)

there is no reason to belittle people, let them be what they want to be. put your opinions out there, and if people dont like them, let it be. state your opinions with relevant facts - theres no reason to sit here and argue with haters. im and id fanboy, its true... and i dont have near the expierence you do with audio, but i can tell what i think is good and i like the cx mid at least - i have not played with the tweet or the xover. this is my opinion. oh well //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

to the other guys, dont try and force people into your opinions too - this is just a big argument over who thinks who is wrong. just like some religious debate.

original poster - get what you think is a better deal. i realize you cant audition properly installed equipment - and i dont mean some crappy soundboard with a tiny amp driving them lol. your best bet is to see if you can go to a national car audio show or a get together, this way you can at least hear more of a spectrum of drivers to find some that suit you the best. thats my two cents.

Buy a set, try them out for a week or so. If they're not what you're looking for, I'm sure you could sell them at a small loss.
