bought them for the front stage and has a hell of a time getting them in the IS300 but everything seems to be good now, i have just the front stage for the time being, the seem like they could use some more power, im powering them now with a jl 300/2, overall, they are great speakers and a plus is that whoever had the car before me was a car audio head himself, sound deadening was eveywhere along doors and car in general, i guess he left all the stuff he was to lazy to take out because the trunk doesn't have any in it. anyway, Image Dynamics has my kudos, very good equipment

they dont seem to have the overall clarity of the jl zr's, how long is break in?

Really? I liked mine a lot better than the ZRs. Give them a good 10 hrs of play time. make sure the deadener on your doors is covering any and all holes.

The XS65 tweeter are nice (soft) but the mid range is not that good, i had them for a month and sold them.

your sig says that you have a pair of 300/2's. If so you should put one on each side. That extra power will really let them shine.
