I have a set of these in my truck with the tweeter removed and bought some alpine tweets to take their place.why ? because the midbass coming from the 6x9 was making the tweets sound muddy when amped.i dont feel like taking them out of my truck to find out if the tweets that came with them will still sound muddy without being amped.they are going in my boat.has anyone ran these for awhile before being amped ? thoughts ?
