basically in new condition. bought them a couple years back, but once i mounted them in the rear doors of my dodge ram they just werent going to work. so they have been in the garage since. no rips or tears in surrounds, work flawlessly

3 1/8" mounting depth. i did some research and found some specs that i edited into the OP. do a google search on ID OEM 6.5 review if you want, you will be pretty hard pressed to find a negative review on them

how would these be for free air midbass drivers?

Great free air. Anywhere from 50-150rms. Higher rms you might want to cross them from 100-120. On the lower rms range they will play into the 60's with authority. Decent free air mids for the price. Hand made motors and hand assembled in usa
