Woofersetc.com has a great deal on the combo of the 6.5" comp set of ID CXS62 2 ohm set for $300 and you also get a free Arc Audio FD2100 which does 95x2 rms @ 2 ohms.

This is a really good deal but my question is since this is a 2 ohm set of comps will the amp still sound good running at 2 ohms stereo? 95x2 RMS should be plenty for the set but I just don't want the amp to sound bad running at 2 ohms instead of 4. What do you guys think and are these even worth 300 bucks with the amp?

Running the amp at 2 ohms adds a little distortion, but for normal listening you will never hear the difference. Those mids are 3" deep. Do you have clearance for them?

That's a good point. I drive a 08 Camry. I'll have to take the door panels off and measure. I'm not sure what I'm going with yet. Morel Maximo's, Focal access sg's, id's, so many choices and I can't hear them all. Wish I could hear all my options in a car....
