Im wanging harder inside the car than outside

I had the same problem. I just didnt have that "Knock" outside the car. Just port the box to the outside of the car.
Watch out though, if you put the port up or sideways water can get into the box and make the wood soft...dont ask how I learned this.

Just be sure and tape streamers to the port so they can see the air moving!!!!!!1

just screw some subs down threw the trunk lid. use your trunk as the box and the trunk lid as the top panel. you gotta be knocking hard after that.

Hello i recently install a system in my car and it hits hard but it seems like it only hits hard when im inside, i could be standing right next to the trunk and all u hear is rattling is it anyway the takeaway the rattling and increase the booming

You need external porting, the most common and easiest form is usually to cut into the rear wheel wells so that the bass can escape outside of the car.

YOu need external aero ports not just outside the box but port them through the side of the trunk wall! 5-6" streamers and they will see you coming.

Seriously there was a dumbass in my town about ten years ago claiming "I took out the brake light on my wing and now the port is in my wing, which was at least 14" above the trunk of his honda.

OP all you need is RAAMAT or a trunk kit from parts express, it might even get louder in the car!

P.S. Most people wang harder inside the car than outside. i'm not really sure why... it could be the sheet metal and factory deadening holding the sound in the trunk? idk man.
