Hello i recently install a system in my car and it hits hard but it seems like it only hits hard when im inside, i could be standing right next to the trunk and all u hear is rattling is it anyway the takeaway the rattling and increase the booming

bass sound waves bounce off the trunk and reflect into the cabin.

if you dynamat the trunk you will reduce the rattle but if you want to make the outside of the car louder theres not much you can do short of putting the speakers on the outside

also do you really want to annoy other people?

wow this is about the dumbest thread i have seen today....

not everyone wants to hear your system outside the car....and sound dampening material will get rid of rattles....

I had the same problem. I just didnt have that "Knock" outside the car. Just port the box to the outside of the car.

Watch out though, if you put the port up or sideways water can get into the box and make the wood soft...dont ask how I learned this.

Just be sure and tape streamers to the port so they can see the air moving!!!!!!1

I have a jackass in my neighboor hood that has kicker ( I think) speakers behind his grill... HE IS ANNOYING.

I think im going to have to wait for him to come throught at like 2AM and stop him with stop sticks and have a talk with him/

Most cars project low notes towards the front of the vehicle, not the rear.
