Ok I bought a Alpine CDA9886

two DD 3510's and an atomic 2200.1 and a 504 AB amp for my comps.

I'm thinking about buying another 2200.1 and a MAXX link or MLT so I can connect my amps.

The MAXX is like a Processor correct?

What I don't have and what I'm going to buy that I know of:

Good pair of tweeters

I might upgrade my front Mmat 6.5's to Brax or Rainbow or something.

I want to go active so I need to figure out how that works..

Hum.. Can't think of much else.

Have you handled upgrading your electrical system, mainly your battery and alternator along with possibly adding an additional battery or two? Two 2200.1 amps will **** a stock charging system dry really quick.

I have on order an excessive amperage 200 amp alt with a 16V cont power (i had him add that on because he had to mod it to run 16v cont.) The bat is a Kinetik. I may upgrade to a yellow top at some point. I can't fit two batteries in my car it's two small. (no trunk room for it.)

Many blow speakers in the process by 'diving in'. I'd just suggest that the OP does a lot of reading before diving in.

And by reading, I mean not making more threads.

It looks like I need imprint but from what i've read imprint stinks :\ and isn't worth the money

thats what i'm doing. maybe after college is over i can finally do this and be able to afford the stuff i want
