im torn, what do you think?

ok i have 3 8" assasins i need 4 to run my amp to get a 2 ohm load on it, but they will only be gettin 200 rms each, or i can sell my amp and run 1200rms at 1 ohm threw 3

do ohms affect quality in sound? if so how,

should i get another 8 or a new amp?

would 4 at less power make a noticable differance than 3 at more?

im torn between decisions what do you think

actually.... you would need 2 to get to 2 ohms.

well 2 on each channel its 400 rms at 2 ohms. per channel

when the ohm load drops. the amp becomes less effecient and also produces a little more dsitortion. but with woofers it is inaudible. also 3 assasins will get you to a 1.33 ohm load i think..

yea 1.33 is right. but my amp i have right now can only handle down to 2 and id rather not take the chance of blowin it up and losing 200$ i dont have.

im leaning twards another 8

ya you could do another 8. and you said there would be 200 rms on each woofer right? that would suffice.
