I did some preliminary measurements and it looks like I have the surface area and volume needed in my hatchback area for 3 13.5" W7 subs in a ported box. Anyone have any idea how loud I could hit with them? It would be going in a 1990 (C4 body style) Corvette. Or, can anyone recommend something else with good sound quality and SPL?
The surface area I have is very close, probably be easier to just fit in 3 12's or 10's, 15's would probably be impossible, but maybe I can make it happen. I am also worried about how I would swing the ports/port for 3 13.5" W7s. I wonder if I could use flexible tubing like dryer vent snaked around to the right length then reinforced with fiberglass? The enclosure is going to be all curvy (fiberglass) so 2' long slot ports are a going to be a little hard to swing.
Any thoughts? I would probably build it for 3 13.5" W7s, but just buy 3 13W3v3's until I could afford the W7s.
