Im thinking 3 13W7s

I did some preliminary measurements and it looks like I have the surface area and volume needed in my hatchback area for 3 13.5" W7 subs in a ported box. Anyone have any idea how loud I could hit with them? It would be going in a 1990 (C4 body style) Corvette. Or, can anyone recommend something else with good sound quality and SPL?

The surface area I have is very close, probably be easier to just fit in 3 12's or 10's, 15's would probably be impossible, but maybe I can make it happen. I am also worried about how I would swing the ports/port for 3 13.5" W7s. I wonder if I could use flexible tubing like dryer vent snaked around to the right length then reinforced with fiberglass? The enclosure is going to be all curvy (fiberglass) so 2' long slot ports are a going to be a little hard to swing.

Any thoughts? I would probably build it for 3 13.5" W7s, but just buy 3 13W3v3's until I could afford the W7s.

Who sells those subs online so I can check out prices?
Nevermind, I found their website. They look like pretty good subs, only thing is it looks like they require quite a bit bigger box then the 13W7s. I could go with 3 Fi Q 12s, or 2 15's or 1 18 if I went with the FI Qs.

Any thoughts?

3 15's sealed.

Do you even have the electrical to backup all this power?

IMO I'd choose the Fi Q over the w7.

If I were you i'd look into 2 15's ported IF you can fit them.

They will be plenty loud, and drop lo0o0o0ow

i would say the bl or btl would be equal to the dub7
Have you ever heard a BTL/BL and a W7???...

DIFFERENT LEAGUE as far as SQ is concerned//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif

The Fi stuff is nice.. I liked my Q's and my BL's.. but the W7 is awfully nice.... and IMOO is far superior in SQ and have a tad more output!

Wait a minute... you have room for three ported 13w7's in your Corvette? Are you sure? After port, MDF, and driver displacement, you're going to be looking at around 8-10 cu.ft. of a box.

Yep. I won't have any cargo space left but it looks like it's doable. Im still in the planning stages, I am thinking of doing two boxes. One with a 8 or a couple of 10s or something for daily driving/racing, and also having a wall I could put behind the seats with the 3 W7s for ground pounding. Would be kinda sweet to have those 3 W7's like 4" behind your head.

I am thinking of using MDF for the bottom, 3 rings for the subs and then making a series of ribs that follow the contour of the rear window for the top and stretching material over it and fiberglassing it.
