SQ is the real deal
I have the equipment listed in my sig. line. I have been very happy with these amps but I am having trouble figuring out how to get them in a decent looking amp rack. So two things. I have beat my head against the wall looking for a h/u that fits my needs. I want dvd in dash with a screen and no flip out so something double din. It must have a decent eq, time alignment, full crossover and 4v out at a minimum. I so far have NOT found all these features in one unit. Does anyone know who or if someone makes a deck with those specs? #2 if you were building a serious competion sq car what would be your amp choice? You can see my speakers in my sig line. I am thinking about dumping all the MB Quarts and just going with Zapco. Who else make quality amps that are up to par with Zapco? I have been thinking of just mabey going with a big 5 channel amp and keeping it simple. I would like about 1000w+ on the sub/subs and 150w+ on the components. Now keep in mind this is for a competition quality set up. Sorry for the rambling. Budget doesn't matter (to a point)

Need more info - car? Where/how do you want to mount them?

You've got 4 big amps, it won't be easy. I assume you're doing an SQ system, why so much power? Biamping?

How about streamlining with a pair of the new Alpine PDX 4.150's and a 1000.1

Well I don't plan on using all the amps. I am a firm believer in "you can't have too much power". I am definately into sq but as a daily driver I am about "SQL" if that makes sense. I see nothing wrong with 2000 watts on tap and definately have the headroom. Any suggestions on a deck and what do you think about amps. I know the MB's sound great on highs from past experience but not sure on the mono block having the "headroom/kick" im looking for.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif

if you are happy with your zapcos. look into the DC's. they have all the processing in the world. better than any head unit out there. or go with the c2ks and the DSP from zapco. i ran the dc 1100.1 and a dc 650.6 active on my zap reference comps. sounded insane. the highs and mids had so much life. sounded unreal.
