im not sure. 2 re mx 15'' sealed or ported? pix

i have a 1998 chevy corvette. i have a glass hatchback and im debating. i dont know what i want to do or what would be better. if i ran ported i would have to run very compact at prolly 1.5-2.0 cubes and sealed i can deffanantly run. i want to be loud as fuh.but i want it to sound good too. im thinking about running 1300 to both subs. what you thing pix coming soon

You don't have the room for ported mx 15's. Just go sealed

and drop an aq3500 or there abouts on them. Ported would be

louder, but you can't realistically do it.

ya thats what i figured and so since im running to 15's with a decent amount of wattage i figured a good fiberglass box would do nicely. and i was also thinking of doing reverse mounted subs

I can think of a very nice way to do a box there, i can't build it for you though, but I know there are people on here who can do glassing and you could probably get 6-7 cubes + that way

try to find someone local who can fiberglass

do them sealed, i tried my four mx 12's in a smallish ported box since i only have an rsx hatch to work with and i think if i would have sealed the thing it would have sounded a whole lot better, and this was with two Orioin 2500d's @ .5ohm each in the mix.

You dont have enough power for two I can tell you that, they are super inefficient.

MXs reversed would sound like azz. They have a horrible mechanical noise when inverted, if thats what you were talking about. They are pretty though. I've heard a 12 inverted, and it was a beautiful install, but the noise it made was just too much of a distraction imo. Good luck and please show us the outcome
