I had a headunit that did crazy shit once. It ****ed up the entire electrical system in my car. It made my windows sometimes not work and my doors would randomly lock themselves. Once the headunit was removed, the problem stopped.

It also did some other stuff but nobody here would believe it so I won't even mention it. A local shop laughed at me until they saw it doing it and refused to mess with it.

no, if the headunit had NOTHING but power connected to it, and nothing else. its not going to work.

I honestly can't. It was a kenwood headunit and when I replaced it with a new kenwood deck, the new deck would not power on when plugged into the same wiring harness. All the connections were fine but the new deck would not turn on and the old one would.

Demons?
