right now as im typing this im taking in the winds from the eye of hurricane wilma and i just got power bak...so wut do i do with a window of oppurtunity? go on caraduio.com of course!

nah im str8 i got the shutters up which is hopefully enough n its not rele raining too much so flooding isnt an issue as of rite now

I'm in the hurricane too. North of the eyewall. We're only getting winds of 50 mph and gusts to 70, but they say they could reach hurricane strength. We've haven't lost power yet, not even a flicker.

I am so far north of that *****, that the winds we are getting are no worse than a standard fall day in Chicago. Temp has dropped drstically though and natives are shivering. I think it feels great though.

Well power has gone out several times. We're getting the backside of the storm, winds shifted directions and are easily the strongest we've had all morning. I'd say sustained winds in the upper 50's to lower 60's with gusts around 70-75 maybe 80. Water is coming in through the sliding glass doors the wind is blowing so hard.

Still alive over here. Power went out every few minutes for a 2 hr period. Other than that, not much damage. The strongest gust we got where I live was 84 mph.
