yes i agree.... ok heres the entire story....
I am in a bmw.. so if u dont know this there is a STEEL wall between my back seat and my trunk... so im planin on having that removed by a plasma cutter... then i will either construct or have some1 build me a box tuned to 32 hz that will have the sub facing up so i can fit a 18" sub in my trunk that is only 17.5 in tall.... so buying a new alt wouldnt really help me at this point because its goin to be quite a process.. for rite now i want good bass that i can cruis around in and juss bump in untill i start this process....
so yes it would be cheaper to just buy the alt if thats all i had to due... but i have to pay some1 to cut the wall out... pay some1 to build a box cuz if i build one it will prolly just bust out somewhere.... and then i will probably have to buy more wire and reinstall the ia 40.1 and the 2 kinetic batts i got powerin it....... So
thats where i sit and why i have asked the question i asked.... i just wish some1 could have answered the question might have been my fualt for not saying the entire story but i didnt think it was necessary thought SOME1 could have just answered the question i asked ... sry.....
Still curious by the way.... would the coil's stiffness have ne thing to do wit whether its output would be more or less louder then a sub wit a lower rated rms sub givin it a loser voice coil at the same watts.....
given the same conditions and same watts (1265) would a 2000 rated rms sub be louder then a 1500 rated rms sub or would the 1500 rated rms sub be louder then the 2000 rated rms sub???
