Im getting REAL Tired of Ebay....

Small rant.

I now REFUSE to buy any amplifier on ebay from anyone that is not experienced in selling amps, i dont care how good the deal. This is the third amp in a row (HiFonics Gen X Saturn) i have received that has been fu#ked in someway during shipping due to improper packaging. The newest turd didnt even put anything in the box, just wrapped the amp a few times in NEWSPAPER and shipped it loose in a box. $25 dollars shipping doesnt even get bubble paper??!?!?! $160 down the crapper... Comepletely broke. Wont power on at all. I'm kinda think it was broke before it left.. but it sure wasnt bent!!! Thats three in a ROW!!

This is getting out of hand guys. I traded for a Vii HiFonics Boltar in mint condition from Servcosr5 and it got here bent , even with very good packaging... Ya'll need to take a hard look at who is selling what on Ebay and buy from some respected sellers. People who have experience selling amps.

i feel ya.

i bought a old crossfire off ebay a few years ago. the dude put it in the original crossfire box the amp come in(just a thin box w/ no type of packaging) and then a box that was just big enough to cover the other box. that was it! No bubble wrap, peanuts, nothing. Luckly it worked just fine when powered on, but i was worried.

Ya'll need to take a hard look at who is selling what on Ebay and buy from some respected sellers. People who have experience selling amps.

Looks like YOU need to have a hard look, and not give us pointers, when you can't even do it yourself. I've never had problems with people on eBay...

Next time, make sure the seller double-boxes the amp, even if you have to pay a little extra. And try to have it shipped through your preferred carrier. If it is a private seller, it probably won't make any difference to them.

I only buy from power sellers so I think I'll be good I hope...but yea that is pretty shitty I feel your pain.

been lucky with the 3 i've bought off ebay. the first one was refurbed and lasted 3 years at only $175. other two still work

amps come from the company in a single box a little bigger than the amp. atleast thats what i was told when i got one in the mail from someone. it didnt work either

Same here. I always just use the buy it now feature and usually purchase from powersellers, and have had good results.

I bought a "mint condition only used for 25 minutes in a show car orion 2500d" off ebay once.

I got it and all the mounting brackets on the amp were sheared off. It was just completely loose in a cardboard box.

Guy refused to contact me after I sent him 4 messages.

I got in contact with paypal, and they pulled money out of his bank account and paid me back.

I suggest you do the same and get your money back.

Nope. I sent it back to him in the same broke *** box he sent it to me in. I doubt it even powered on. Looked like it had been dropped off the back of a truck.

No. Just some guy. He had good ratings and everything, so I thought everything would be fine. Turned out to be a huge pain in the ***.
