i have 2 kicker xpl's rated at 8 ohm svc. rigth now im runing each one on its own channel on a 2 channel amp at 300 watts, i wanted to kno what would be my best bet for my next amp and what should be the set up on it,(the subs are rated at 500 watts max)

What's The Rms Of The Subs..

Add The 2 Numbers Together And U'll Want An Amp That Puts Out That Amount Of Watts @ 4ohms

Question, are you saying that your current amp is putting out 300w a channel into each channel at 8ohms or are you saying that your amp is 300w total to both channels. If it's 300w total try bridging your amp and running your 8ohm subs wiried into a single 4ohm mono load.
