Im confused now...

Looking at Moe Lesters plans I noticed that in his port he has then length from the front of the box to end of the port and their seperate lengths....For example ( Red lengths inside port )

Is that the port length?

I always thought the port length in a slot port like that one was the length of the 2 peices of port inside the box were added together

EDIT: Or is it that the 2 peices of port had 3" added onto the dimensions because the port is 3" wide

He's right. You measure down the center for any turns and start at the front edge of the port.
