I'm clean

Forgot to tell you congrats on the weight loss earlier. It takes alot of will power to give up something that is a daily habit even if you know it isn't the best for you. Good job man!

Most people walk around dehydrated all the time they just dont know it, nor do they realize how it affects the body. With the amount of sodas you guys were throwin down I am SURE you were dehydrated everyday. Caffeine and Alcohol are two substances that will actually dehydrate you the quickest(not the only two), next to physical activity that lacks hydration.

Dehydration is a key factor in weight gain (again not the only one).

A person with limited physical activity needs roughly 64 oz of water per day. The more active you are the more you need just to stay hydrated.

It could take less than a day to become dehydrated, but two to three to get hydrated. It's alot for the body to handle when youre puttin' down that amount of soda a day.

Good decision bro.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

My dad had to cut back all of is sugars and stuff to avoid becoming a diabetic, and lost aroud 40lbs, around 2yrs ago. About a month ago i decided to for the most part quit drinking cokes, and have been working out for about 3weeks now.

i noticed when i grab a pop it really didn't quinch my thirst but it tasted so good. i also saved a lot of money. i still drink diet, but i don't drink it as much as i did regular pop.

I used to drink coke, pop, whatever you wanna call it until my junior year of high school and just decideded (sp?) to stop. I will have a coke every once in a while with lunch, but other then that its water all day long. I don't see how people can wake up and the first thing they drink is a coke:sick: or when they are thirsty they reach for one as well....I find water to be much more refreshing now. Hopefully in time you will be able to knock it all out:D Congratulations on the weight loss.

Once you start to eat and drink healthier things, that is what your body is going to crave. It's just getting to that point which is a *****.

The fact that he has lost 30+ lbs is pretty impressive. About a year or so ago I was sitting at around 290 (not as bad as it sounds considering I am 6'5"), and the toughest thing was getting started on the right track. The extra weight makes you too tired to do any type of working out, and it was a ***** to try and control your food portions and est the right thing. My head was telling me I needed more when in reality, I had already ate too much. Anyway, I am down to about 235-240 now, and feel 10x better.

Ice, you can take up motivational speaking! Sample of your work: "Your fat, and need to get the sand out of your ****** and do something before you die. If you really want to die, I can reach in and pull your nuts out through your throat. Do it."

Congrats!!!!!!! Man I wish I had the will power to give up some of the bad $hit in my life. Glad to see it happen man good job. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

I pretty much used to eat and drink anything up untill I got diagnosed with diabetes. I got on a very strict diet, gave up alot of things I always said I wouldnt. I lost a good amout of weight, and got better eatting habits and in turn it kept my blood sugar down to normal.
