FS: 91 Yellow V6 MR2 - 1MZFE SC, Dallas Texas, USCC Champ Car

Ok, I have finally gathered myself and ready to do this...

Yes, this was Brad Bedell's 04 USCC Champ car.

Price: $30,000

Location: Dallas, Texas

Mileage: Chassis ~ 140k, Engine ~ 20k

VIN: JT2SW22N1M0014435

-----------------------

After a thorough conversation (debate) with my wife, we have concluded that we have to let “the yellow” go and proceed with a 4-seater coupe as our fun vehicle – getting ready for an upcoming child.

I am not in a hurry to sell. I have a few more months before I have to make room in my garage.

I feel that with all the countless number of man hours, equipment, tuning and other miscellaneous goodies that was spent on this MR2, $30k is good place to start.

All serious and reasonable offers will be considered; however, please do not send me an email to educate me how to price a vehicle.

Feel free to email me questions and offers. =)

-----------------------

Current Condition:

Turn the key and drive (yes you need gas).

This is my semi-daily driver. Completely tuned for street. AC, power steering, radio, parking brake, power windows, locks, etc… all works.

No accident.

Since the vehicle has such a long list of goods, I will break it down in 2 parts –

1) What have I added since I took ownership

2) What was already done when I took ownership

----------(Part 1) ----------

I took ownership of this perfect MR2 since August 2004.

Since I happened to be one of those that "everything has to be right; just right" person,

this MR2 has gone through some cosmetic and minor refinements.

(Not necessarily in this order, I tried my best)

Engine was clean, inspect, all parts were re-balanced, re-check tolerances, re-port and polished, blueprint

Custom exhaust valve and exhaust port job, custom combustion chamber work

New Rings, bearings, lifters, seals and gaskets all around

7 psi pulley set

Re-oiled the supercharger

New plugs

Autronic Wideband O2 – tune any time!

New Tein SS coilovers

Alignment

Alpine IVA-D900 + 6 disc changer

Compustar 2WSS-AS with shock / tilt / motion

1995 MR2 Tail lights and Wing

JDM MR2 Red Stitch 3 spoke wheel

JDM Red Stitch shift knob

JDM cup holder and pocket

There might be minor specs and details that forgot to list since there are many. Basically what I did was standing from the back of the car and walked forward and try to name every single part that I could think of.

If you catch a typo or something strange, please let me know!

Just a few other things:

The rear suspension crossmember is from a 95 MR2 as is the rear sway bar.

Ball-joints were replaced around the time I built the car. ~20k miles.

Rack & pinion was a new part when I sold it a year ago. (nearly $700 from Toyota)

Custom overflow bottle

Titanium Water pipes

Radiator was new prior to me getting the car.

As long as Ken hasn't lost it, this car also comes with the original window sticker. (You did put that in a safe place didn't you? )

This car is one of the tightest MR2's you can find, I've only driven a hand full that feel as solid on the road as this car. It's lived a very well cared for life.

One more thing. I have a spectra blue 2001 MR2 spyder with a Celica 2zz engine in it I'd swap straight up I'll even mount a rumble seat in the front for the baby seat if ya like.

dude, its a nice car,but nothing i havent seen before. Imports are all the same to me. Supra with a big turbo. Skyline with a big turbo. Civic that looks like a 747.

Imports just arent original anymore to me. This car just isnt thread-worthy. Now,if this had 700whp and looked like that, and ran 9's, I would then deem it worthy, because it could then be fast, and still handle awesomly.

*shrugs* u take smirnoff with your buicks, i take ephedrine with my mr-s's

I really wish that someone with 8000+ posts would know that you post CAR threads in one of the CAR sections ... but, for some odd reason, I have to move every car thread you make into one of them ...
well being that this thread isn't of dire importance to have in the car forums....i put it here
