Warner Robins Police say a month-long dispute between two groups led to Wednesday's fight in a Wal-Mart parking lot.
Lt. Chris Rooks said they've identified the eight people involved and charged three with crimes.
They are Antonio Black, Dendrick Montford and Brianna James. Montford is charged shooting a gun once in the air and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Lt. Chris Rooks says the fight happened in one of the city's most congested areas near the corner of Watson Boulevard and Carl Vinson Parkway.
He says that area is heavily patrolled, because it's located where Houston County's, Centerville's and Warner Robins' jurisdictions intersect.
Restaurant owner in the shopping center Chef Audrey said she's not worried about the incident, because she hasn't had any problems in the past year.
One Wal-Mart shopper felt differently.
Richard Hill from Fort Valley said, "I'm very concerned, because anybody can get shot with random gun shots."
Chef Audrey said, "This is a well lit shopping center, even at night. The police work up here all the time. We've had them pass through on bicycles."
Lt. Rooks said they planned to question four other people involved but don't expect any more arrests.
He said this year they have had 59 reported crimes at the Wal-Mart including fraud, shoplifting and car break-ins.
